Why is CAD Automation required ?
CAD Automation is used mainly for four reasons:
- To remove human errors from the process and technical data.
- To speed up the process and increase productivity.
- To minimize the number of software licences so that one licence and one person can do the job.
- To use the CAD program and your computer at its highest efficiency
What industry type needs CAD Automation ?
Industries that make large products containing hundreds of components. Often, such products are modified to suit individual clients’ needs. Generally, companies want to make design changes in less time and with greater accuracy. Industries manufacturing cabins, site vans, caravans, motorhomes, and bus or truck bodies prefer to customise their CAD operations.
How does the CAD Automation work ?
To make a process automatic in a CAD program, we write a script using a compatible programming language that calls the desired functions as needed. This script will appear as a button in the CAD program interface. The user will need to click on it to begin the process. We can automate one or a series of processes depending on the user input.
